ABOUT

2136 Gothic - Naenia typica.

Trapped - Kings Newton, Melbourne, Derbyshire.
Appears to be an uncommon species in Derbyshire despite being widespread. In 1986 described as being formerly more common than at that present time. The only sites where the species had been recorded in double numbers was the central region of the county. It seems to be a species of the lowland regions. On the wing June - July.

Food plant - A wide range of herbaceous and woody plants.
