2182 Small Quaker - Orthosia cruda.

Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire.
Moths of Derbyshire 1986 - Harrison & Sterling, described this species as uncommon and locally distributed in Derbyshire. I believe that this moth is now well spread throughout Derbyshire, certainly in the south of the county. On the wing March to mid-May.

Food plant - Oaks, birch, sallow, Field Maple and Hazel.
