2248 Brindled Green - Dryobotodes eremita.

Trapped - Foremark Reservoir, Derbyshire -September 2003.
An uncommon and locally distributed species in Derbyshire. Primarily associated with ancient woodlands and never seems to be recorded in numbers. A very attractive and subtly marked moth, sometimes shows a green hue. On the wing from August - mid October.

Food plant - Pendunculate Oak, probably Sessile Oak and Turkey Oak.
