2255 Feathered Ranunculus - Eumichtis lichenea.

Trapped - St.Agnes, Isles of Scilly - 11-18th October 2003.
Spurn Point, East Yorkshire, September - 2003.
The sub-species scillonea is common on St.Agnes and is darker than the mainland nominate, with contrasting white kidney marks and more extensive whitish markings, forming almost a pale bar across the stigmata. On the wing from August - October.
