2267 Beaded Chestnut - Agrochola lychnidis.

Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire - September 2003.
This autumnal moth is fairly common and widely distributed throughout Derbyshire.
On the wing from September - November.

Food plant - Herbaceous plants including buttercups, clovers and chickweeds also on grasses and some broadleaved trees when larvae larger.
