Trapped - Kings Newton, Melbourne, Derbyshire - September 2002.
According to Butterflies and Moths of Derbyshire 1986 by 1960 this species had steadily increased its range and population throughout Derbyshire. Today the species is generally common and widely distributed. On the wing from late August - mid October.

Food plant - Grasses.
