2352 Dusky Sallow - Eremboia ochroleuca

Trapped - Kings Newton, Melbourne, Derbyshire - July 2003.
Widely distributed throughout Derbyshire but generally uncommon. Prior to 1971 only one specimen was recorded in the county. Since 1971 the species has steadily increased in numbers. Still generally an uncommon moth in the county. The Trent Valley appears to be one of the best areas for this species. On the wing from late July - early September.

Food plant - The flowers and seeds of grasses including Common Couch.
