Black-necked Stork

This bird shows clearly a yellow iris indicating it to be a female.

There was just 4 birds present, the picture below shows a pair together. The male has a brown iris.

Good numbers were still at Bharatpur despite the breedig season being over. The adults are very striking, whilst the juveniles are very dull and greyish brown in comparison.
