This species was very common at Bharatpur.

Bharatpur - April 2004 - on breeding ground, nest was found with 2 eggs.

One of the star birds of the trip. I was very lucky to get these pictures as the bird was very distant at all times. The temperature was something like 40 degrees C with a haze when I took these pictures. Digiscoped with my usual combination.
