2384 Vine’s Rustic - Hoplodrina ambigua.

Trapped - Kings Newton, Melbourne, Derbyshire. September 2004.

This specimen represents the second confirmed record for Derbyshire. The species is possibly overlooked and is more likely to be a migrant visitor to the county. However it appears to be colonising Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, so a spread into Derbyshire is not impossible.
On the wing from May - July and August - September.

Food plant - A wide range of herbaceous plants including docks, Dandelion and Primrose.
