2389 Pale Mottled Willow - Paradrina clavipalpis.

Trapped - Kings Newton, Melbourne, Derbyshire. September 2003.
This species is found predominantly in the south and east lowland areas of Derbyshire. It is widely distributed and locally fairly common but uncommon on the uplands of the north.
On the wing from May-July and August - October.

Food plant - Grass seeds including cereal grains.
