A nationally local species and current status in Derbyshire is probably locally distributed and scarce.
In 1986 the species was only known from 1 locality in the central region. The species seems to have spread into the south of the county, particularly throughout the Trent Valley.
On the wing from July - August.

Food plant - Field Maple and probably other Acer species.
