1819 Mottled Pug - Eupithecia exiguata exiguata.
Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire July 2005. Widely distributed and not uncommon especially in the south of the county. The species has been recorded from all areas of Derbyshire, with the exception of the Peak Grit. It is primarily a moth of the southern region, especially the Trent Valley. On the wing from May - June.
Food plant - Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Midland Hawthorn, Dogwood.
