1747 Streamer - Anticlea derivata.

Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire 9th May 2006.

A noteable and local species that is generally uncommon in Derbyshire. It is found at several widely distributed sites in southern and central Derbyshire. But even so, is still local at these sites. A very attractively marked species that gets its name from the black mark that streams from the leading edge of the wing. On the wing from Middle April to end of May.

Food plant - Dog Rose and possibly other species of wild rose.
