1955 Common White Wave - Cabera pusaria.

Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire 11th May 2006.

A widely distributed species and locally common in Derbyshire. It is common in birch woodland located in all areas of the county with greatest populations occurring in the lowland areas.
On the wing from May - June and from late July -August.

Food plant - Silver & Downy Birch, Alder & sallows.
