Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire 11th May 2006.

A widely distributed species but generally uncommon in Derbyshire. The species appears to have colonised the midland region around the turn of the century. The first records in Derbyshire were 1916. It is trapped in very small numbers each year and is regarded as uncommon, despite being found throughout the county. On the wing from April -September.

Food plant - Flowers of various plants including Dog Rose, Hawthorn, Traveller’s Joy, Bramble and Elder.
