Trapped - Robin Wood, South Derbyshire - 23rd June 2006.

Another species that is widely distributed but locally common. The moth is found in its highest densities on the Central Gritstone area of Derbyshire. Records from the Trent Valley are few and far between in recent years. On the wing from June - Mid August.

Food plant - A variety of herbaceous plants including foxgloves.
