2336 - Double Lobed - Apamea ophiogramma.

A very scarce species in Derbyshire, seemingly confined to the river valleys of the south and east of the county where remnants of wetland habitats still exist. It is a species that favours fens, marshes, riverbanks and water meadows. There are usually only a hand full of records each year.
On the wing late June - August.

Food plant - Reed Canary-grass and Reed Sweet-grass
