2377 - Fen Wainscot - Arenostola phragmitidis.

A very rare species in Derbyshire, and a possible new colonist to the county. There is only one previous record in Derbyshire in 1991 from Chesterfield. It is a regular species in Nottinghamshire and so maybe it is beginning to extend its range into our county. It favours reed-beds and can often wander into gardens. On the wing July - August.
