1759 Small Phoenix - Ecliptopera silaceata.
Trapped - Kings Newton, Derbyshire - May 2004 (left) & July 2003 (right) An attractively marked species which occurs in all areas of Derbyshire and is most common on the coal measures and the southern river valleys of the Trent & Derwent. On the wing mid-May to mid-June and then a second generation in July -Sept.
