In Butterflies & Moths of Derbyshire part 2 1986, not recorded since 1950‘s. Then a single record in 1991,92 &93. Then in 1998 recorded as Common but mainly in the north, with fewer records from the south of the county. Current status appears to be well spread in the south of the county.
On the wing from September - November, then March-May after hibernation.
