1881 Early Tooth-striped - Trichopteryx carpinata

Trapped - Kings Newton, Derbyshire - March 2004.
A woodland species and only added to the Derbyshire list in 1990. Prior to this only one previous record in 1889! By 1998 recorded as common in Derbyshire. On the wing April - May.


Food plant - Sallows, Birches, Honeysuckle and Alder.
