1716 The Vestal Rhodometra sacraria

Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire - 10th September 2006
A very rare immigrant to Derbyshire. The first record was 1973, when 2 were trapped in September, then a further 4 in 1983, also in September. This specimen appears to be the first record for Derbyshire since the 4 in 1983.

Trapped - St.Agnes, Isles of Scilly - October 2003.
A regular but scarce migrant, the pink colouration of the specimen in the right hand image, indicates that this individual has travelled from a hot climate. Max of 27 on 13th - 14th October 2003. The left hand specimen shows the usual colour form.
