Trapped - Melbourne, Derbyshire June 2003.

Common and widely distributed throughout Derbyshire, largest populations occur in the lowland areas.
On the wing from July - August - occassionally from late June to early September.

Food plant - Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Hazel, Birch, Alder, Sallow, Honeysuckle in the main.
