STATUS Common throughout the count with the exception of the moorland areas

ID POINTERS – A yellowish-orange head. Forewings a mixture of pale brown, reddish brown and whitish markings, with a distinct white spot, which is nearly always present, in the mid-area of the forewing.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during the day in May – August
