STATUS Widespread and common on Hawthorn and Apple

ID POINTERS – A rufous tinge to the wing tip helps distinguish this from all others in the group. A whitish head, thorax dark grey and forewing grey with a darker grey cross-band just over half way. A scattering of blackish scale and a small white spot on the costa towards the wing tip all help with the ID process
