STATUS Probable status in the county is common. Species not listed in Harrison & Sterling – Butterflies & Moths of Derbyshire – 1988. Frequents grassy areas where the larvae feed on white clover flowers.

ID POINTERS – Bronze or metallic green in colour. Note the base of the antennae are thickly covered in purplish reflective scales

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during the day and at night in June & July
