STATUS No twentieth century records at 1988. This species became much more frequent in gardens during the 1990’s. Would suggest it is now well established in the county as a common species.

ID POINTERS – Forewing is twisted and a warm reddish brown in colour with two blackish triangular shaped patches towards the forewings tips. 

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing in July and September – early June – over winters
