Pterophoridae – Pterophorinae – Emmelina monodactyla – Common Plume 

STATUS Common and widely distributed across the county on Convovulus and Bindweed.

ID POINTERS – Forewing is twisted or divided and is a pale brownish colour. Moth rests looking like a cross or T Shape. Marks usually include a small dark spot at one-third along forewing. Abdomen has a pale buff dorsal longitudinal band with brown streaks along the midline.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing in almost all months of the year.
