STATUS Suspect locally common and widely distributed across the county on.

ID POINTERS – Forewing can be bright orangey or reddish brown to greyish brown. Often with wavy black cross-lines and a pale thick cross band all forming an attractive pattern across the wings.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during July and then in September. Overwinters and so may appear in the early spring.
