STATUS Assumed a common species in the county wherever there is Scots Pine.

ID POINTERS – Quite distinctive. Forewing pale yellowish brown ground colour intricately patterned in cross bands with orange-brown edged with brick red.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – August
