Tortricidae – Olethreutinae – Enamonia formosana – Cherry-bark Moth

STATUS Unknown. Probably a common species but localised in the county. Favours rosaceous trees, especially apple, Rowan and cherry.

ID POINTERS – An attractive species. A complex and intricate array of markings in orangey-brown, dark brown and metallic blue. An attractively marked costa with four diagonal black wedges bordered with orange and creamy dashes.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – September
