STATUS Widely distributed and locally common across the county, on hawthorn

ID POINTERS – Fairly distinctive looking. The forewing is reddish-brown to dark brown with two silvery-grey cross bands. An obvious dark brown or reddish brown triangular patch at the wing tip.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during April – October
