Tortricidae – Olethreutinae – Rhopobota naevana – Holly Tortrix 

STATUS Extremely common on the moors on Bilberry. Locally common in the south on Holly and other trees and shrubs.

ID POINTERS – A very variable species but rests with a distinctive crease in the wing. Forewing usually brown or blackish brown, with pale or darker brown cross-bands.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – September
