STATUS Widespread and locally common across the county where there are Thistles and Lesser Knapweed.

ID POINTERS – Appears rolled up and squared off, like a small piece of dried grass stem. Forewing is greyish-brown or dark brown or pale yellowish brown. varying streaks and markings of forewing colours. Can show darker blotches.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – August.
