STATUS A locally common species on sallow or poplar

ID POINTERS – Has a distinctive black triangle on the lower edge of each forewing. When the wings come together at rest they form a diamond shape. Forewing white sometimes tinged yellowish brown with a well defined dark brown or blackish basal patch. A dark patch along the costa at about a half. A reddish brown apical spot.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – August
