STATUS Common and widespread throughout the county amongst wild and cultivated roses. (Was Epiblema cynosbatella)

ID POINTERS – The yellowish labial palps help to distinguish it from several similar species. The basal third of forewing blackish-brown. Remainder of wing a creamy white with silvery grey marks and blotches. A greyish brown blotch at the wing tip.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – July
