Tortricidae – Olethreutinae – Clavigesta perdeyi – Pine Leaf-mining Moth

STATUS Common and widely distributed in the county where there are Pinus sp. Has spread with the commercial growth of Pine trees.

ID POINTERS – A narrow and slightly pointed forewing. Greyish-brown mixed whitish-grey. Irregular pale lines across the wing. Orangey-brown in final third of wing.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – September.
