Pyralidae – Phycitinae – Euzophera pinguis

STATUS – A fairly local species both nationally and no doubt in the county. Found on Ash.

ID POINTERS – Easy enough to identify with zig zag cross-lines of dark and pale colour. Ground colour of forewing is usually a creamy yellowish or pale greyish  brown.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during July – August
