STATUSWidespread across the county. Mainly found on Hay and Thatches.

ID POINTERS – A beautiful little moth. Both fore & hind wings a metallic purple with wings fringed a bright golden orange. Two golden orange spots along the leading edge with wavy cross-lines through the hind wing. Fairly unmistakeable.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during April – November
