STATUS – Local in Derbyshire to the south of the county. Maybe spreading. Frequents haystacks and thatches

ID POINTERS – Forewing brownish grey, suffused reddish-brown, with two pale yellow wavy cross-lines and two small yellow marks on the leading edge of the forewing. Wing tips rounded.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – November
