STATUS – A regular migrant species recorded in small numbers during the autumn.

ID POINTERS – The orange rusty-brown ground colour, black markings and two black spots in each forewing make this an easy pyralid to identify. Note also the white legs.

FLIGHT PERIOD – Usually occurs during August – November
