STATUS Widely distributed in the county, especially along rivers, canals and old ponds, on a variety of aquatic plants.

ID POINTERS – Female tends to be larger and paler than the male. Forewing pale straw-brown or whitish shaded with dark or light brown. Three large white blotches in the central area of each forewing.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – September
