STATUS – Widely distributed and locally common. Principal strongholds are in the Peak District, particularly the Limestone areas.

ID POINTERS – Unmistakeable. Forewings are translucent with a pearlescent hue and two wavy cross-lines and a discal spot and a dark smudging in each forewing.

FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing June – August
