STATUS – A locally common species found in the southern lowlands of Derbyshire and on upland areas up to 300metres. 
 
ID POINTERS – This moth is not easy to identify being very similar to Five-spot Burnet – decreta. The black border to the hind wing is narrower and the forewings are usually more pointed and more elongated.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June – August.
