STATUS – A resident that is rare, with isolated records from the county. Seems to be restricted to a few sites in south Derbyshire but isolated vagrants are recorded from places well away from their usual habitats. This particular specimen was trapped at Froggatt on 22nd June 2016 by Kate & Bryan Barnacle. Five records between 2019-2023 with last one on 18 June 2023 from Kirk Hallam.
 
ID POINTERS – Really unmistakable, a medium sized green moth with cream and fawn blotching on trailing edges of hind and forewing are diagnostic.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing – late June – July.
