STATUS – Resident in Derbyshire and appears to be wide spread and generally common throughout the county.

 
ID POINTERS – A small dark sandy-grey moth with the wings covered in a dusting of fine spots and flecks of darker grey. Central dark spots on the fore & hind wings and also a fine wavy line of spots or dashes along outer edge. Can look a little pug like at times.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing – June – August.
