Yellow Shell Geometridae – Larentiinae – Camptogramma bilineata – colour code

STATUS – A resident species, but not generally common. It is widely distributed throughout Derbyshire and is recorded in low numbers at most sites where it occurs.
 
ID POINTERS – A distinctive carpet moth as no other species has the colour combination of yellow & orange cross bands and wing colour. The intensity of colour is very variable.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing between  June – August
