STATUS – A resident species, that is found throughout the county. It is most common on the coal measures of central Derbyshire and the southern river valleys.
 
ID POINTERS -The male has a habit at rest of holding the tip of the abdomen upwards. A large central cross band that is bordered either side with white lines. The sub-terminal line being very distinctive with several indentations forming tooth like markings. A dark basal area that is also edged with a white line.
Sometimes the cross-band is split into two sections down the middle.
