STATUS Last recorded July 2022. A resident species that is very uncommon and has a local distribution in Derbyshire. Most records come from the south and central region of the county. Current status uncertain – Not many records of this species.
 
ID POINTERS – Quite distinctive with a chalky white ground colour, blue grey border to the trailing edge of the wing, a central brown patch on the trailing edge of the forewing and a brown basal area.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing between July – September
